The Two-Time Transformation of Robert Downey Jr.'s Hamptons Home Thanks To Joe Nahem

Here's how the designer changed the Downey family's unique Hamptons hideaway—twice.  The Entry: The first thing Nahem needed to do upon the purchase of the Hamptons house was open up the entry, which appeared dark and closed off.  Nahem initially painted the walls white to open up the room and added paintings by Ati Sedgwick (right) and Pascó The Great (left). A year later, the paintings were such a hit, they made the final cut in the Downeys home—just swapped positions to opposite walls.
